The Snapshot is a device that plugs into your car’s computer, and actually provides Progressive a “snapshot” of your driving habits. It tracks the number of miles you drive a day, what time of day you’re driving, and if and how often you make sudden stops. While your premium will never go up from the Snapshot, if your driving habits meet the Snapshot’s qualifications, you’ll be eligible for a discount. You can even login online to view your policy, track your driving habits and see your estimated discount. The best part is this is no cost to you!
